Peter Nicol MBE

Peter Nicol, former world No.1 squash champion. Ranked No.1 in the world for 60 months with an unbroken 12 years amongst the top ten players in the world - celebrated for his character both on and off the court, Peter played his last game as a professional at the World Open in Cairo in September 2006. Peter formed The Lifestyle Institute based on his passion and belief in Power Plate training; he continues to use the Power Plate as his sole form of training which has not only maintained his level of strength and conditioning, but also, and more importantly, his body's health post professional sport career.

"When i needed to push the limitations of my fitness levels I began training on the power-plate. In twelve weeks i took the condition of  my body from good to excellent. it revolutionised my training practice and helped me achieve the best shape of my career, which spanned well over a decade. Jessica Winstanley

Jessica Winstanley joins TLI from the events industry, where she helped run numerous events ranging from squash and tennis tournaments to classical music concerts. Her aspirations to return to the health and fitness industry became a reality upon introduction to training on the Power-Plate, where she found a thriving passion in establishing Power-Plate centres and providing its benefits to all.

"Within a fast-paced working environment in the events industry, a few years ago I began to suffer from lower back pain due to prolonged periods of time at my desk, followed by prolonged periods on my feet at events. I was getting frustrated with the fact that I couldn't fit a run or walk into my day, an hour for yoga, and despised a busy gym; and then I was introduced to the Power Plate. In 3 months I had minimized my lower back pain, and had lost a stubborn 6lbs which I had kept from working and missing work-outs. From then on, I decided to devote my professional career to providing this service to others. I cannot suggest enough to those with busy lifestyles and an awareness of their personal health to take up training on the Power Plate"
